does that make me crazy?

so, as this is my first blog, ever, i wasn't really sure what to write about. i asked myself, what would others want to hear? as i scrolled through my music library, i thought of all the songs i have belted out, dance-partied to, used simply as background music, needed on emotional days, in languages i don't understand, without words at all....
but i encountered two songs i love dearly - and interesting enough, they have the same exact lyrics. one is by the ever famous Gnarls Barkley. summer of '06 was overtaken by this song, and despite having listened to it way to many times, the catchy beat still gets me. the second is by Ray Lamontagne, a singer i have recently taken interest in. His mellowed out voice seconded by his guitar sounds like an answering machine message that makes you want to run back into his arms, no matter how much of a jerk he was.

now for the songs... interestingly of the same skeleton, yet very very different. i bet if you neglected to pay attention to the words, you would be unable to make any relation between the two.

so the question is, which one do You like better?
